Hi, I am Sharath Badadamath; founder of FORTUNE8, a Product Designer, Usability Researcher and Human Factors Engineer. Graduate in Mechanical engineering from NIE Mysore and Post-graduate in Product Design and Engineering from NTTF, Bengaluru.
I am a versatile design practitioner with in-depth understanding of Design Lifecycle.
Across 13+ years of experience, I have worked in various realms of product design ranging from User / Market research, Industrial design, Interaction design, Visual design, Human Factors engineering and Mechanical engineering.
Prior to FORTUNE8, I have worked with global organisations such as Boston Scientific and Baxter as well as design studios such as Bang Design and STRIDE Studio of HCL.
I have delivered multiple products for National and International clients such as Dell, Jio, Embrace and Tata Communications. I was instrumental in developing multiple products (both tangible and intangible) for Showmeka Media and Entertainment platform during my startup venture - Precision Vector Systems.
My biggest strength lies in the ability to adapt and learn new things quickly. I have ventured in to various realm of product development; from creating simple products to defining strategic framework for the brands, from hands-on sketching to soiling the hands while making prototypes, from POC design to refining the design to the very last detail for production, from choosing the manufacturing partner to rolling out of the end product, I have had a journey of learning and sharing. At FORTUNE8, my aim is to leverage this experience in developing an ecosystem for delivering world class products.

Pay Per Service model
Ideal for projects with clear objectives and requirements.
Client partners establishes the project objectives, timeline and deliverable from both quality and quantity perspective.
Client partner pays an advance fee (typically 50%) to initiate the project. Remaining 50% at various stages throughout the project as agreed.
Retainer Fee Model
Ideal for client partner when they are unsure of duration of support needed. Also when client partner is looking for exploratory design.
We encourage client partners to negotiate with us the scope of work and arrive at favorable conditions.
Client partner pays the retainer fee on monthly basis over agreed contract period for the service offered regardless of occupation
Sweat Equity Model
Ideal for bootstrapped startup and have resource crunch.
Client partner provides a full picture of the startup. We are open to sign a NDA / CDA if required.
Client partner pays the minimum fee (negotiable) as an advance to initiate the project. If there is a professional chemistry, we may do it for free.
